At a time where agencies are closing their Day Habilitation doors to individuals with intellectual, developmental and behavioral needs, Willowglen Academy - New Jersey is committed to retaining its status as the leader of Day Habilitation Services in the state of New Jersey. With three adult day programs throughout New Jersey, Willowglen Academy - New Jersey continues to exceed the expectations and needs of individual and families, as we believe that every individual should have the opportunity to be an integral part of his/her community. With our dedicated staff and therapeutic programs designed to help adults achieve their desired outcome for life, we strive to provide supportive services that foster independence through educational, social, recreational, and vocational engagement.

Our vocational opportunities have created the possibility for Adult Day Program participants to work as receptionists, mail carriers, retail associates, sanitation workers and carpenters; however the true strength of our programs lies in our ability to offer person-centered vocational training, social, and daily living skills.

An Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) made up of intramural clinicians, guardians, case workers, program supervisors, direct support professionals, and the individuals themselves work together to develop an Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP). Each IHP is tailored to meet the needs of the individual by focusing not only on their abilities, but also on their preferences and life goals. Dare to dream it, and we will achieve it together.
